Generation IV, Nuclear Reactor Systems for the Future

18-22 November 2019, CEA Saclay, France

This international course will cover the six Generation IV Systems;  Gas-cooled Fast Reactor (GFR), Lead-cooled Fast Reactor (LFR), Molten Salt Reactor (MSR), Supercritical Water-cooled Reactor (SCWR), Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor (SFR) and Very High Temperature Reactor (VHTR). and address cross-cutting aspects of safety, material and fuel, energy conversion and the nuclear fuel cycle. It will take place from 17-21 June 2019 at CEA Saclay, France, organised jointly by the French National Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology (INSTN) and the Generation IV International Forum (GIF). The course is for professionals, engineers, researchers and students interested in acquiring a global view of 4th Generation Nuclear Reactors. We encourage experts that are already involved in Gen IV activities to attend as well.
