List of GIF Policy Group representatives.
The nine founding members are those that signed the GIF Charter in July 2001: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. Subsequently, the GIF Charter was signed by Switzerland in 2002, Euratom in 2003, and the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation in 2006. On 22 June 2016 Australia signed the Charter, thus becoming the 14th member.
Argentina and Brazil are non-active, i.e. they have not acceded to the Framework Agreement which establishes system and project organisational levels for further co-operation.
In total, twelve members have signed or acceded to the Framework Agreement.
