GIF SIAP Member Professor Bismark awarded National Order of Merit by France

GIF is proud to count among its SIAP (Senior Industry Adisory Panel) members Professor Bismark Tyobeka, principal and vice-chancellor of the North-West University (NWU), South Africa. 

We would like to share the news of the recognition of his work by the French Republic who awarded him with the prestigious National Order of Merit (Ordre National du Mérite).

Professor Tyobeka’s significant contribution to the global governance of the nuclear industry academic pursuits and  his efforts to promote collaboration between South Africa and France earned him the honor of being bestowed the title of Knight of the National Order of Merit.
